Lai Wuji works his socks off, pounding the streets meeting the folks in chiayi, shaking hands...until to the very last day...missing meals....until his scooter also run out of gas......his hard work finally paid off and he managed to squeeze into the last 4 as chiayi representative......

now for GMS..

he thinks dat just becos he will get at least 25% of tampines vote..he is oredi veri proud and can sit back relac, surf the net 24/7.....i say he shld be ashame of himself!.....as many oppo supporters oredi said here...they will even vote for a monkey than MIW....so if GMS is happy of the 25% vote, then he is no better than any monkey or dog dat his voters are willing to vote for anyway....

so instead of being a fucking fat lazy bum sitting behind his chair surfing the net and writing nonsense like ufo and mudslinging in dis forum...he shld be out campainging hard going to every corner of tampines for the non hardcore anti-MIW voters......instead of making a token appearance once in a blue moon at tampines round market and hawker centre for the purpose of having a good lunch there....

also make sure dat his final farewell speech is really final...and not declare it on 9 Jan...but then come in here on the veri next day to kpkb and do his usual mudslinging...

You can try and get 100 candidates to work like that way you had expected and see the end result. 99% of these efforts will NOT be returned. Don't simply interpret someone else success using the angle of your own favor, 90% of the time you are wrong. Millions of people read books about many success stories of people like Bill Gates and tried to copycat. Did anyone turned out able to copy? Most of these copycat efforts are down the drains. multi-members constituencies is not proportional representation but can be seen as some sort of PR - you will get elected with 10-15% of total votes in the constituency.

It's common knowledge that an NCMP has no voting rights when it comes to constitutional matters. It's like u can PCC but u cannot cum, so really no point.

NCMP has no voting rights on constitutional, finance and defence matters. However, there's voting rights on all other matters. Anyway, in the political im(balance) in Singapore now, opposition MPs vote or don't vote doesn't matter as long as PAP holds over 2/3rd majority. What matters is that opposition can't pose a threat to that 2/3 majority by always keeping only a couple of seats. Get as many into Parliament as possible, whether MPs or NCMPs. I see that if the NCMP system gets expanded and entrenched, it's a good platform toward a proportional representation system, i.e. losers still got their says in Parliament but proportionally lesser say. I'm all out against the NMP system, what the hell is that? Government appointees!
