hey kyp, i know you're the resident expert on taiwan. here's a question for you. do you know the taiwanese that old man harry hired decades ago to relocate to sg? he lived in sg with wife and family for over 20 years and is now in the sf bay area. what did he do in sg?

i suppose no one knows. will have to do the deep dive myself. the couple are not getting younger and all may be lost if they continue to clamp up. they are wealthy socialites in the bay area, not to be trifled with. but they seemed to be heftily rewarded for services rendered to sg. best ft's retire in the bay area.

I can't recollect the name but I've heard of the case. He arranged SAF training permit in ROC. He retired to somewhere around SF Japantown area and we've actually met. He belanjah a good teatime of scallops fried Taiwanese style with Japanese sake. Later, heard he moved to Sunset area.
