just wondering... what;s unaffordable to them?

last noted SGD$600,000.00 is mere peanuts. so the current pricing of SGD$300,000.00 to SGD$500,000.00 for BTO flats is less than peanuts to the MIWs...:eek::eek:

fuck you lah..

99 years leasehold , pay how much also not yours.

other country can get freehold and pass on the properties to their future generation.

Fuck sinkieland and the pathetic PAP to hell.

HDB flats are not leasehold. They are just 99 years leases - that is, the "price" we pay to HDB is actually to RENT the flat for 99 years. The owner remains HDB. Those who "bought" an HDB flat can go dig up the documents and you will see one document with the label "LEASE" on top.

This is why unlike private properties (whether leasehold or freehold), HDB "owners" are never given the title documents to show that they are the owners.

Yes, "ownership" is a LIE!

:eek::eek: how many HDB dwellers had actually held on to the "title deed" to their "homes"?:eek::eek:

This Penang kia talking about Penang flats is it ?

Actually is not Mr. Khaw fault. Is chee bye MBT fault for 2 term(10 year) in charge of HDB only built less than 30k unit of HDB.
Mr. Khaw now cleaning the mess leave by MBT.
At least KBW built at least 20k~30k unit/year. Just maintain 25k unit/year for the next 10 year will bring down the price to 2009.

Just like SMRT breakdown all SHIT is cause by previous minister and management. Now current minister and management will have to clean up.

Affordable: using 30 years to pay off that mortgage loan. Life is about choices, it will be easier if you decide not to chase after the impossible dream.

Ok . Thanks for the correction. But i thought leasehold is also considered buying the right to stay in your property but not own it.

1. tonny, just went to google on it.
2. leasehold item:

"The right to hold or use property for a fixed period of time at a given price, without transfer of ownership, on the basis of a lease contract. A leasehold is a fixed asset."

3. so, what is to make up of the pigeon-hole up in the sky?
4. still affordable or what?
