Yin nah deh! Shopping centers are out for me and my keling kakis. We now dancing around trees in open areas and eating curry as a recreation now
That mall has been quiet for at least the last 10 years.Closing for renovation from 1st March lah.
Anyway it was a redundant mall to begin with.
Katong area seams really jinxed. Apart from Parkway Parade, any other mall there is as quiet as a columbarium.

I was there from 1974 to 1979.....no paikias during those times. We were the meek and mild generation.Kim Seng is the original Paikia School....along with Bukit Ho Swee and Delta East were the holy trinity in that area for producing the bulk of SS members.
Yes, it was some kinda of residential with a bowling alley at the basement. If I remember correctly, there was a bowling alley at Kim Seng Road. I know because some pai kia acquaintances of mine went there to bowl after school.

They had a Swensen’s too and it was the first to use walkie headsets for the crew.....such a novelty back then.
It's the name. Many people quarrel between 112 or I12. Make the name so complicated for fuck
Roxy had their laksa. Palace next door was restaurant La Paloma. Odeon Katong where I Q up on Sunday to watch many a Bruce Lee show, back then they call it Sunday morning show. I grew up in Marshall Road. Before 112 Shopping Mall was developed, the site was occupied by the famous Joo Chiat wet market in the early 80's.
Next to the wet market was the Joo Chiat Police Station which is now occupied by the Indigo & Holiday Express Hotels.
Right next to the police station was the famous Roxy cinema.
Until the late 70's Katong had three cinemas; namely Roxy, Palace & Odeon Katong.
Lots of fond memories from those days.
You proud to be the 70%?I was there from 1974 to 1979.....no paikias during those times. We were the meek and mild generation.
I fuck the 70%. Are you one of them ?You proud to be the 70%?![]()
