I packed 2 masks and a small bottle of hand sanitizer for her in her school bag too. I reminded her to avoid touching too many things and stay a distance from others, and also washing her hands thoroughly whenever she can.

You could have declared to the school your family went to Malaysia and your girl will get 2 weeks LOA and all her homework will be served up to her online. They don't check passport. But too late now for that.

Most of us are waiting and waiting for government to make the decision eg shut down school.
If not we just follow the ways and go with it.
Sometimes we need to take matters in our hand especially for family seek.
Anyway the decision is yours and partner to make.
