just curious, anyone still hangs SG flag outside flat during National day period these days?

Actually now I think about it. Please treat the flag with respect. Want to hang than hang. N U dulan than don't hang. Nothing wrong. However if yr beef is with pap. Than burn and defaced the pap flag. It's the pap and its cronies that are the problem. Hang the pap flag upside down etc. Pap flag is not a national symbol and not a crime to defaced a private symbol.
 
Not exactly. That flag represents the state aka republic of sinkieland which encompasses the govt, constitution, political system, governing organs like court, civil service , Istana etc. All control and manipulate by PAP.

Therefore there is nothing wrong not to hang that flag if we are not supportive of pap.

Don't hang is ok..but please note the problem is pinky n gang.
 
Some will even hang their flags upside down. Don't know for sure whether it's a sign of protest or artistic expression or eyes cocked!
 
Just curious, if you accidentally hang the flag upside down, colour faded, will kana fine by govt?

The fence outside my house is decorated with several Singapore flags.
 
Nowadays nobody hang liao la. Hang also the RC enthu kia hang. Last time national day still got feel but now totally dont have liao

In the past..alot RC ppl will sell the flags..now seldom or never see flag sellers anymore. But all in all only facists and communist states make a big deal about national day with parades etc. Most other countries just take is has a holiday and drink and party. Singkieland does it to glorify pap and not to respect the country.
 
KNN some pap paul lampard will stick a flaging flag in their car imagining they are MID car KNN

Very true...only in North Korea & China their national day is a parade of their various armed forces and missiles. Singapore also liddat.

In Australia...it's just another public holiday with fire works display.
