Call Gopalan Nair. He knows a good French restaurant in Fremont.

Otherwise, go Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown or Japantown, you won't go wrong.

Two persons I will not want to meet in any holiday and its Gopalan and Ravi. I kenna one time already got scared. Sorry I cannot reveal detail but believe me. It happened in Hong Kong. Thats all. Ah Ram you bad recommendation.

If you crave for Chinese food while in SF, there's always the biggest Chinatown in the world to go to. Brunch dimsum is great along Stockton Street and dinner roast duck etc. roasted is great at Kearny Street just opposite Holiday Inn. My favourite was North Village in Sausalito but Eatshitndie has informed that it had closed. :(

it's on 1144 north 4th street, san jose. live jazz and blues night is on friday from 7 to 11 pm. have your dinner at 7, hang around for music until late, have your last drink 1 hour before you drive back to hotel. better to drive there, hard to get a cab in san jose.

ps: no cover charge. tips to the band will do.

Don't forget to give Gopalan Nair a hello call. He doesn't speak Cantonese but he'll bring you around anywhere as long as alcohol is served. ;)
