JBJ was a judge before become a politician and he started the defamation law suit. This is a reason a lawyer cannot be a politician who will bring a hordes of legal ingredient into politics using scare tactic and act of deterrent to forbid you from going further.

He is a Christian and should know what Jesus said:

Mat 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

It is believed JBJ was the one that use the legal scare tactic to intimidate PAP man during the election time to warn he knows the law. PAP men learnt from him and become a useful tool to shut him out and bankrupt him and CSJ get the axed further.

Imagine if this Ah Neh judge is a opposition party leader how many law suits will he initiates busy taking PAP to court --- this judge knows the law in his hand and uses his legal sword against his adversaries. LKY did the the right thing to bankrupt this Ah Neh judge.
