台鐵一列普悠瑪10月21日在宜蘭縣出軌翻車,造成18死、上百人受傷,事故原因仍在調查中,目前已確定列車上的ATP關閉。事故後,一度以為普悠瑪列車未裝ATP遠端監視系統,後來釐清是有裝未使用,立法委員段宜康指聽說是普悠瑪原廠問題,配線和圖不一致。
時代力量籍立委黃國昌在臉書貼出日本車輛製造公司給台鐵信函,指出有關ATP遠端監視功能用配線,未連接行車調度無線電話系統,推測可能為設計人員確認不足,配線在未連接狀態下,交由台鐵驗收。
日本車輛製造公司在信中也提到,有關配線是否正確連接的檢測確認,由於日本車輛製造公司無權使用地上設備與行控中心,無法進行相關檢測。就日本車輛製造公司認知,檢測為台鐵於車輛驗收後自行實施。檢測及之後運用的實際情況,日本車輛製造公司無法掌握。
