The Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA) is another NSA in the top tier. The funding for their secretariat has not changed, and STTA president Lee Bee Wah is disappointed.

"It is not easy to keep good staff if you don't pay them well and give them an increment for the good work they have done," said Dr Lee. "I am sure the SSC staff will receive salary increases, so now I have to work even harder to raise funds.

"The increase in the budget is for paying the increase (in fees) for the facilities we use. It is like moving money from one pocket to the other.

"We will also have to deal with inflation, which has up costs. So, I am disappointed with the amount disbursed."
