Let's set this straight. Graffiti is not the same as vandalism. In vandalism, the vandal can just splash a few tins of paint over the train cars or whatever vehicles and can even escalate into arson if they have tins of gasoline and flick a lighted match. In graffiti, painstaking effort and artistic talents combined to send a message (whether you agree with it or not) but result in no hampering of the functioning of the public transport system.

In fact, it beautifies meaningfully, unlike authorized and paid advertisements disfiguring the vehicles commercially. Go visit New York or Chicago.

I believe it's hate, the slamming is about rather than the context of what he said. At the back of people's mind his adultery scandal is still not forgotten.
