They will dutifully stop at traffic lights controlled junctions when it's red but will pull away just before it turns green.
bro,
couple of things to take into perspectives

1. the bike is lighter than the car
2. the bike usually pulls ahead of the car when traffic light turns green
3. logical that they pull ahead of the pack of vehicles and zip around before the heavier vehicles trail after them
4. the bikers need not be squeezed between two vehicles, even that they shouldn't be doing so from the start
5. most bikers don't look at the lights along their path at junctions, they look at their adjacent direction
6. gives a sense that they are beating the red light just before it turns green in their favor
7. the adjacent lights are already red to begin with
8. faster reaction time as if they are F1 drivers or on MotorGP

to be honest, me would give way to them under most circumstances, they are more vulnerable to injuries, and having said that, their vulnerability doesn't warrant them the rights to ride dangerously and posing danger to other road users.
