What do these rich people see in football clubs? Players getting way too much money. And even if you create a talent from the youth team, big clubs will offer him a better deal to leave

If managed properly can earn quite a bit of money. Sponsorship deals, selling players for profit, ticket sales, shirt sales. And prize money for winning trophies.

I know it sounds right and seems right.

But the reality is the clubs that win are the ones who spend the most and NOT earn profits.

It is very hard to break into the winning group of clubs.

Spending smart is better than spending big. Flushing money down the drain and making stupid decisions, the fans will find out very quickly.

Look at Barcelona now. That's a poorly managed football club, despite its pedigree.

That's Barca. Lousy fans.

Some clubs the fans support them through thick and thin. Because they know that's the nature of the sport. There will be bad times there will be good times.

Many of these rich clubs especially those with super rich owners it doesnt matter to them making bad purchases. They just buy again. UEFA tried financial fair play but the recent ManCity ruling means it is over.

How do you compete when it is just fantasy football? You have to be very very good in spotting talent and making the team click together.

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Better stay away from CCP dirty money. Unless Lee Hsien Loong wants Sinkieland to get sanctioned by the USA.

By the way, I see Tiong insurance companies' ads at the bus stops: China Taiping and Ping An. Not a very good sign.

SINGAPORE (REUTERS) - The Singapore-registered company that says it is close to buying English soccer club Newcastle United admits it doctored photos of former US president Barack Obama in marketing materials used to publicise the newly formed group.
Bellagraph Nova Group (BN Group) also said some of the information in those materials was released prematurely or contained errors after Reuters found inconsistencies when speaking to firms and persons BN Group says it is involved with.
Speaking on behalf of BN Group's principals, Nereides Antonio Giamundo de Bourbon, head of investor relations, acknowledged that the company had altered photos of Obama to make it look as though he had attended a meeting with its executives in Paris.

His admission came on Wednesday (Aug 19) in response to questions from Reuters.
BN Group has now removed the photos from its website.
However, Bourbon denied that the company had deliberately made any false claims about certain aspects of its business.
