Dead body found outside Istana

Police have found an unidentified dead body outside the Istana on Tuesday morning.

The body was found near the back gates of the Istana, along the side of Cavenagh Road.

According to The Straits Times, there was a rotten stench in the area.


A walking stick believed to belong to the deceased was also removed from the scene by police officers.

Police have cordoned the area along Cavenagh Road and are investigating.

They have classified the incident as unnatural death.
