The Brits brought the Rubber Plant and Malaysia became the world's supplier of latex for a good number of decades of which SIngapore benefitted, The railways and infrastructure was built and so was the administrativer,, judiciary, medical institutions, educational schools, and military bases and ancillary support services, The intention and purpose was to provide the services for global trade, to which Singapore benefitted till today, Singapore should support the Freedom of Navigation throught the South China Sea as proposed by the United States.
