There should be many common moral norms that we can all adopt. No education syllabus can be perfect. If we are honest to what we wish to impart everything is possible. Remove the religious content if we want to maintain secular principles in our society. Remove the political element. I don't see why we cannot have CME in our schools. Many of the ills in society is a direct result of this stupidity.

CME shd be based on some common moral norms...no need to go into religious study or political brainwashing.

Just instil honesty, love , compassion, fair play, care for others, be at peace with others, speak pleasantly, respect for parents, upright, be humble, not deceitful, not perverse, even tempered, generous, care for the aged, care for the poor, care for the sick, be helpful, dont be quarrelsome, be peace loving, be cheerful, be diligent, patience, be understanding, be truthful, dont have bad motives, etc..

SG's electricity price is abt twice that of Hong Kong.

Previously there weren't so many high-quality people in the opposition parties, and people said they had no choice so they kept on voting for the rogue party for decades.

Can't the people see how much those individuals in the opposition have already sacrificed in going against the giant rogue bully?

This alone speaks volumes of their moral strength, courage and sense of righteousness. Compare this with the moral calibre of those who join the PAP with aspirations for THEIR OWN material gain.

Where is their sense of fairness and good conscience to society at large?
