I, on the other hand, hope to see a few ex-PAP MP candidates standing as independents to give pro-PAP supporters a better choice if they are not quite convinced of PAP's chosen candidate.

I hope that someone will propagate this idea so that the longer the PM takes to consider the holding of the BE, the more such candidates would turn up to give, as what TSL has said, the electorate a greater choice.

To be Speaker of Parliament and declaring Hougang seat vacant in early 2012 because YSL was alleged to have committed adultery when he was doing exactly the same thing with Laura isnt hypocritical?
