Now that some are banned from casino,

just wondering is there a market for getting another IC ?

whats the market rate ?

Also the IC barcode at the back, if once reported lost, will it be deactivated ? or still can continute to use the IC to enter casino, sign phone line etc ???

8 years ago the market rate was $30,000.

I was told that the syndicate had an insider in ICA who will take the IC and passport of those who have given up citizenship and give you the number.

Don't know what it is now, or even if those people are still in business. Would be interesting to find out.

demand will create supply in innovative ways, the government cannot beat it because government staff are only trained to follow orders and go back to their families at 6pm.

many ktv gals who overstayed had fake letters granting them an extension of stay due to court cases, don't even need to buy new passport, although the insider at ICA has already been jailed.

it can be observed from the local market that those illegal money lenders would be more than happy to have access to a valid ID. but you sure you want to go down this route?

alternatively, there's the signing up of multiple phone lines n getting the phones from the big 3 telcos. but that figure is typically small - 3 digits range, maybe low 4s. (a legal loophole that many of the local handphone shops are using to generate their revenue. the owner of the ID basically sign up for the various plan, get the phones, and then sell it to the phone shop and get quick cash. while the dealer does a markup and sell in the open market to get more money than what he pay the holder of the ID.)

there's many other examples that can be inferred from the daily papers.
* phantom local CPF employees in order to get FTs quotas. (estimate around 4 digit range, and the potential of jail time is there. )

* using the ID for fall guy aka TPK - Tua Pek Kong. (in excess of 5 digit range, but would need to factor in jail time for sure.)

Just go to Bangkok and get it. The machine they use is the same one that every country club has. But i wouldnt forge a singapore IC, you get long jail term if caught

you seow ah? why get a singapore IC and pay $100 to get in casino? shouldn't you get a malaysia or PRC passport? cheap and serve your purpose.
