Walked through, most shops shuttered, escalators not working, only Aircon still on.

What will happen to this place? And the next door Park Lane?

its been sold. waiting to tear down and re-developed

Enbloc, soon to be closed and demolished for 'redevelopment'.

Similar story to Golden Mile. Or Tanglin Shopping Centre.

I explored that place not too long ago. Very vintage vibes: the amber lighting, the wooden staircase railings, the information counter, the small tiles on the floor.

On the top floor was an 'escape room' shop, it was crowded with youths, including angmoh youths.

The fongsui is no good for a peace center... whoever buy the place to rebuild a new one will get the same bad fongsui...

Does anyone remember a Tai Foon Sports Shop on the ground floor ? Also Satnam Sports that used to sell the Lotto brand.

I was probably too young or didn't exist back then.

I had fond memories of May May Watch Dealer shop at Albert Complex, now the Albert OG building. Bought many Casio watches from the shop.
