I've noticed that too, and I think it's a fun way to mix things up. If you're doing gel nails at home, having the best UV nail lamp makes a big difference in getting an even cure and avoiding any sticky spots. Some lamps don't cure evenly, and that can ruin the whole look. A good one will set the polish properly so the colors pop and last longer.
