I've also a mobile broadband of 7.2mbps (2GB), but it is a sim card. Can I put it into an ordinary phone and use it as tethering device?
the sim is not a radio chip nor processor. it's memory for authentication and accounting. your old feature phone will need the radio baseband and processor hardware (chipsets) and os & app software to work as a mobile hotspot device. it will not work as it is, and i will not encourage you or anyone to modify it to make it work as a mobile hotspot. it will be easier and cheaper to buy a new smartphone. when you use the mobile hotspot feature, bear in mind that you will eat into your mobile data allocation or cap. it will be better off to offload your porn streaming on wi-fi via an isp connection.
