5. When you arrive at the prison complex, you will once again be subjected to a strip search and a series of questions about your health, dietary preferences and your sexuality. For the strip search, you will have to remove all your clothes, squat down, and open your mouth and stick out your tongue.

Not sure about dialysis cases. But in Changi General Hospital there is this special ward only for prison inmates who are there for emergency treatments.

Last time prisons warden salary very low. They are regarded as poor cousin as compared to their police counterparts. Corruption also rampant among prison staff. Inmates would deal with the prison staff to smuggle ang hoon inside prisons, DRCs. Wardens would meet up with inmate's family member or gang Kakis outside to receive cash payment and also collect the stuff to be smuggled during their next working shift. And the old double decker non air con bus no 2 also a favourite of gang members to throw contrabands into the fencings of Selarang DRC for their inmate buddies to collect. Late 90s, CB Kia Wong Kan Seng as Home Minister and officials from his Ministry , few Justices of Peace chaps went to Sembawang DRC and Khalsa Crescent DRC for visit... There they saw many inmates exercising doing solid push ups. One inmate even did 100 push ups at one go. Some of them carried pails of water as a form of weight lifting.
