One: Spending money on fancy military toys enriches the cronies in the defence industry. The money that changes hands is huge.

Second: It is an indirect way of paying protection money or tribute to USA and western powers. Notice that Mindef almost always buys USA military equipment.

Why would indonesia track a rouge airplane? If it crashes into Jakarta, that area would be redeveloped within days after the crash. Anyway MH370 was flying over Sumatra. I believe there are no airforce base in Sumatra.Anyway, what sort of target can a hijacked 9/11 type plane damage Sumatra. It's one of the largest island in the world and it is mostly jungle.

Imagine the plane turn East towards Phillipine lagi jialat. Over there maybe 3/4 of the country is empty by now, another big exporter FTs and FWs human products for cheapest labours, with in-house training tah stamp certificate some more before export certified.

hey, don't lookdown on coconuts. SEA region are coconuts infested and coconuts can only be found on beaches only.

Maybe coconuts look up to the sky daily and can share information among themselves and bomoh guru was right about their coconuts.
