A man was found dead at an open field beside the Riverine by the Park condominium along Kallang Road.
According to a Channel NewsAsia (CNA) report, a passer-by spotted the body and alerted a security guard at the condominium, who called the police at 7.30am.
The security guard said that the dead man’s head was covered in blood and he was dressed in a brown t-shirt and black pants.
A police forensic team was sent to the scene to conduct investigations.
Police spokesperson Yvonne Edwin told CNA: “The body of a man, believed to be Indian, was found at the said location. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 8am. Police have classified the case as murder and investigations are currently ongoing. Anybody with information should call the police hotline at 1800-255-0000.”
