India gaming carnival epic fail

This happens once in 2004, WCG Singapore ay Suntec, massive protest from participants, and the organisor and Samsung committee have to do some control damage. Gamers are made to wear white shirt with black prints, like going to the wake, CS game was played with only best of 4 rounds instead of 7.

I was in gaming scene scene during that time, SG gamers will never forget that event because the organisor tried to save cost and refuse to pay young judges a fee, they want volunteers, in the end, the gaming group pull out, they have to hire inexperiences judges to jedge the event, hahaha....

It's not surprising but what pisses me off is that somehow they have the gall to not even feel the least bit embarrassed and to be put on par with other countries like china. It's like putting an s league football player with the likes of messi or someone from the epl.

Former S-league striker now playing in Premier league, dun pray pray. :p

Seriously though, after hearing all the comparison with China, my first trip to India, I really went WTF. How in the world can pple compare this place with China. It's not even remotely close. Advance Chinese cities like Shanghai and Beijing is easily comparable to the likes of HK and SG. Mumbai and Delhi still very much look like 3rd world countries

There's always some BS excuse like no matter how fucked up india is that somehow it will overtake china following this logic china will overtake the us.

Grant Holt, now playing for Norwich. He scored the winner against Man U last month. Used to play for Sengkang, I think, 10 yrs ago

As for China overtaking us, it's a matter of time. Assuming the political situation doesn't change too much, they can drag ahead of us in a few decades. The infrastructure within the country is improving by leaps and bounds. With a central government who does not have oppositions to stop them moving forward and a population really hungry to succeed, I won't be surprise if they overtake the US sooner then experts prediction. One really need to work in or with that country for a period of time to understand where they are. Our generalization of all PRCs being 3rd world country bumpkins is very far from the truth.

You see that's what i'm talking about. I'm sure you know what i'm talking about. Now china is under rated compared to india that's overrated. This pisses me off cos why do indians always get undeserved praised while chinese always gets overlooked or their good pts always looked down upon and negatively stereotyped. This is just plain stupid. Yes china can and most likely will overtake the us but will the bloody fair and balanced western media report on that? Of course not. It's like say putting the s league on par with the korean league. Now this analogy isn't that good but you can say the k league does have a chance of matching a major european league in standards in perhaps a few yrs time. Now suppose you put the s league in the same light as the k league. Now that's plain ridiculous. Of course that's dumb. We are far behind the koreans when it comes to football. Yet suppose the media keeps on twisting and making up stories about how the s league is on par with the k league and how it will even overtake the k league one day and yet there's nothing to show from the s league to prove that but yet the media keeps on spinning that type of BS. Now if you're a korean or a 3rd party in fact wouldn't you be pissed? You watch both the s league and k league for yourself and you see how fucked up the s league is yet it gets put in the same vein as the k league. You think the world must have gone mad. This is the same type of categorization that the bloody media and analysts have been doing with china and india. China might be even better than the k league and probably more on par with a european football league while india might be even worse than the s league and yet they keep on placing india on the same pedastal as china when it is clearly far far inferior to china and you can observe it for yourself since you have physically lived in both india and china. Isn't that simply infuriating?

There is a difference between what a developing nation like China needs and what a country like SG needs. If you haven't realize already, LKY pretty much had free rein to do whatever he liked when we first got independence. All the human rights issues that plague our political scene, that's all him. Whatever bad he did, it also allow his team to go about doing what was needed to move the country forward. SG is in a position currently needs some opposition in Parliament to kick PAP out of complacency, I have never disagree with this point before

Yes, he used to play in the s league.
No, he didn't score the winner against Man Utd. Ryan Giggs scored the winner in the last minute to win 2-1.
And in the earlier match, Man Utd won 2-0.
