The civil service, police and judiciary are independent of the PAP. They have been an effective check on politicians who break the law. PAP politicians have also been sent to jail or committed hara kiri when confronted with their crimes. Singapore is not malaysia.

There's room of opposing views within PAP. There' no need to resort to treason by joining opposition just to make your opposing voices heard.

That's not true at all. The opposing view of PAP is just a normal kind of difference in view vying for more power within the party.

I won't belie such opposing view can make a difference.

Let singapore flourish by evolving into a multiparty democracy. It will be good for the country to end the PAP's monopoly on power. All monopolies are bad by design.
