Businesses are aware that there are a mounting volume of threats facing their operations. However, there is an increasing amount of evidence that organizations are not taking the proper approaches to negating these threats and producing better cloud storage safety outcomes.

As eSecurity Planet stated, the presence of cyber criminals and the power of their attacks has continued to accelerate. Despite the frequency of incidents and the ongoing presence of groups like Anonymous in the news, not enough progress is being made in improving corporate protections. The source indicated that it’s essential businesses start taking more proactive approaches to their cloud storage security. If firms wait for an attack to take place, it’s unlikely that these incursions can be blocked.

CSO Online added that there are increasing indications that data breaches and malware attacks are having bigger impacts on business operations, but companies are getting more aware of the issues associated with these events. While corporations want to be able to stop every incursion, such an expectation is impossible. Instead, the focus must become reducing fallout and mitigating loss while boosting cloud control and monitoring.
