The Issue

In recent years, Malaysia has faced significant challenges due to the presence of Rohingya refugees. With the increasing number of Rohingya entering the country, there is a growing strain on our resources, infrastructure, and social services. This influx has led to heightened tensions within local communities, as resources that are already scarce become even more limited.

The economic impact cannot be underestimated. With Malaysia striving to improve its economy and quality of life for its citizens, the addition of a large refugee population requires careful management and considerable resources. Moreover, the situation has been further complicated by the global pandemic, which has placed unprecedented pressure on our health services and economy.

Security concerns have also arisen, with reports of crime rates increasing in areas where refugee settlements are concentrated. While not all refugees are involved in these activities, the mere association has led to fear and mistrust within communities.

This petition calls upon the Malaysian government to develop a comprehensive plan addressing this issue. We urge the authorities to collaborate with international organizations to seek alternative solutions, such as resettlement in third countries or enhanced support in their home regions in Myanmar.

We understand the humanitarian aspect of the situation, but we believe the current approach is unsustainable. It's crucial for Malaysia to prioritize its own citizens' welfare and stability while working on a humane solution for the refugees. Let's unite for the betterment of our nation.

Please sign this petition to encourage the Malaysian government to take action on this pressing matter. Together, we can make a difference.

Impossible to remove as bangalas already entrenched in society. Both rohingya and bangala cooperate previously work as farm hand now own the farm when owner retires. Or take over supply biz when owner retires. Or interior contracts.
They work harder, tougher and faster than Indonesians.
