Moreover, the situation has been further complicated by the global pandemic, which has placed unprecedented pressure on our health services and economy.

Security concerns have also arisen, with reports of crime rates increasing in areas where refugee settlements are concentrated. While not all refugees are involved in these activities, the mere association has led to fear and mistrust within communities.

This petition calls upon the Malaysian government to develop a comprehensive plan addressing this issue.
