Imagine LIFE WITHOUT COE...will it be DISASTROUS?...HERE IS THE TRUTH!!!!

Weak argument based on a couple of videos and a shamble of statistics. Can you at least argue coherently. You reflect badly on the pro-PAP faction, because you sound like a illiterate fuck.

ps. It's another lie not lies. Your quoted statement would be better worded as 'Every single one of the videos above prove that Topsage is lying.' I recommend a short course in the British Council to improve your guttural english.

plse don't be so harsh on kenneth. He is not able to think logically.
I did not even say traffic in any of these cities is smoother than singapore....
in fact my point no.4 says COE keeps 'our roads smooth and exclusive"
so what does he prove by showing videos of traffic jam? It only ptoves his
inherrnt inability to understand and process logic.

Besides video on traffic jams in cities is quite easy to.find, here.is one
of a traffic jam in singapore:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRDbxoR1RUo

My main point is other cities are able to function without COE by investing in.piblic transport.

Did you actually ever drive in those cities you mentioned? It's a nightmare x 10 except for Melbourne!

But yes, in general i agree. There should be more incentives and conveniences to encourage people to use alternative modes of transport. We can see all kind of projects in progress right now, the government should have started them much earlier though.

Tell me which is worse:

Being stuck in a traffic jam, in the comfort of your own private transport where you can enjoy the music, or take calls via bluetooth speaker phone;

OR

Being stuck at the MRT station watching the trains go by as you hope the next one have just enough space to squeeze you in, so that you'll get to smell each other's body odour and halitosis. On bad days, the trains would break down, and you'll have to scramble for alternative means of transport.

The fundamental problem is, we are overcrowded. You squeeze the crowd at one end (the roads), they will only turn up at the other end (MRT and buses).

Aiyo, if there's money to be made from sinkies why not right? Afterall its sinkies who gave PAP the mandate to kenna assfxxx, so who to blame?

Topsage u need a piece of mirror again, u are the one who don't know how to think logically, your video call traffic jam? all the car is still moving and never heard anyone horn. You really a retarded.

Even Tokyo which has 10M people in a place smaller than Singapore has no COE.....

hold the bus. tokyo has 10m in a place smaller than singapore. is this a joke or what?
do you even came to japan even once in your life? if you do, you will not say such crazy comments.
japan have no parking place no buy car policy, which limit number of car. parking place cost big money there.

kenneth what is wrong with you?!

In my original article I did not say anything abt traffic jam being
better or worst in various cities. In fact you can shrink the COE quota and make the road smoother the COE shoots up so that only the rich can enjoy the smooth road...such a system can only deepen the social dovide and mismatch allocation with needs of the people.
a superior public transport will be a.much better solution

please spend some effort to think and process ideas
properly.

Pleaase take a mirror and look at yourself again, what process ideas u have provide since u here for so long time? Did you really provide solution to solve the problem? You only know how to tell lies, posting misleading information & flaming only.

Saw these signs this morning in Ginza, S$6.40 per hour, think Singapore not much far off. $25 per day again I think it's not far off.

If the COE had been properly managed, there won't be those bad traffic congestion today. And I had also advocate that there should only be either the COE or ERP, but not both. Bloody PAP just wants to milk us dry that's all.

How else you think that smear of shit on sole of shoe LKY got 700++ BILLIONS into this stinkapore sovereign funds and to find the $$$ to pay the obscene bribe price of his PAP walking bags of excrement ministers and kangaroos and his fucking civil serpents to squeeze and rape us of even more billions?

I'm referring to Tokyo city itself which is comparable to Singapore depending on which year the city limits is drawn not the Tokyo Prefecture which is many times larger than Singapore because it included the suburban areas. Basic point which is more important is Tokyo City copes with a higher living density without COE - that's all...never mind they do it through parking, public transport, etc.

Lies again,

Singapore

Total Area: 710 km2 (274 sq mi)

Population

2012 estimate 5,312,400
Density 7,315[5]/km2 18,943/sq mi

Tokyo

Metropolis
2,187.66 km2 (844.66 sq mi)

Metro
13,572 km2 (5,240 sq mi)

Population

• Metropolis
13,185,502

• Density
6,000/km2 (16,000/sq mi)

• Metro
35,682,460

• Metro density
2,629/km2 (6,810/sq mi

Bangkok used to be in a mess long time ago but it's improved a lot ever since without COE. Now with better public transport investments on MRT (10 lines) this situation will continue tto prove workout COE.

Once a thief knows how to get easy money he will never stop to be a thief. COE is easy money. Stop believing what they tell you about grid lock etc even with COE are we experiencing traffic jam now? And where the money goes to preventing floods on highways?

:oIo: PAP :oIo:PAP :oIo: PAP

This is how they park

like what??

New expressways, widening of existing expressways, various new MRT lines, additional trains, park connectors, cycling lanes, covered walkways, more buses, new bus stops and a number of smaller improvements here and there.

Too little, too late? No, just very late.

Kenneth,

You are wrong again. I'm referring to the Tokyo city area which is a concentrated area is an apples to apples comparison with Singapore:

As of December 2012, the population passed 9 million; the 23 wards have a population density of 14,485 per square kilometre (37,501 per square mile).[3]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_wards_of_Tokyo

You're wrong again.

Anyway, the gist of the argument holds regardless. Please try to focus on the main point and not pick on the irrelevant details..even then, you're mistaken.

Lol, Kenneth got pawned. Are you daft or what, so proud that SG has the highest population density.

Who is wrong? U claim Tokyo city is smaller than Singapore, but your data show Tokyo is bigger than Singapore, You really a retarded that don't know how to read data.

Aiyoh, Kenneth....like that also can. I give you link with data, you still iron teeth want to argue.

In the table from the link from the 23 wards that form Tokyo city.
Overall 621.81 Area(km²)

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_size_of_Singapore_in_miles
Singapore has a land area of 660 sq km (255 sq miles)

BIGGER and SMALLER...these words you understand hor..then it is no excuse to make the mistake.
