Retired Police dogs, Bonnie, Begi, Bak and their fellow Police K-9 Unit mates have all found a home shortly after Home Team News publicised the adoption exercise in October 2011.

Most encouraging was how the online community on Facebook and Twitter have readily supported the cause.

Their tremendous effort in spreading the word about the adoption drive paid off.

The Police K-9 unit received an overwhelming response to adopt these retired K-9 dogs.

Yet another batch of retiring dogs; 7 Shepherds, 2 Labradors and a Springer Spaniel are up for adoption.

Keen to give them a new home, you can meet them at a viewing session this weekend from 25-26 February 2012:

Venue: No 2 Mowbray Road Singapore 688253 (Near Chua Chu Kang Way)
Time: 9 am to 12 noon
As the K-9 unit is a protected place, interested visitors will have to make an appointment at 6314 6035 with the following details before turning up.

Full name and NRIC numbers of all visitors
Date and time of arrival
Vehicle number
Visitors are required to bring along their NRIC to change for the security pass at the Duty Office.

These K-9 dogs have put in many years of dedicated service and hard work for the Home Team, please help us provide them with a tender, loving and caring home so that they retired with pride and dignity.

What a waste! There are plenty more deserving dogs out there awaiting yr adoption. You only need to scour the forum for the PAP IB. Lionel will be a good choice.

These K-9 dogs work with their sense of smell. That Lionel de dog work with his tongue which made him un-adoptable.
