I'm not sure. Maybe @whoami can answer that.No halal sign and ikea even declare that their hotdog is not halal but many Malays are buying them. Why like that ?
Do u mean it is fine to eat angmoh pork ? Or angmoh pork are halal ?I'm not sure. Maybe @whoami can answer that.
I think it's because the association of Chinese and pork is very strong. In other words, as long as it's not Chinese it's more likely to be safe to eat.
It's only observation on my part and obviously not a scientific study, but with angmoh or even Japanese, so long as it's not obviously pork. i.e. no ham sandwich or tonkatsu, they're ok with it. When I eat with Malays, there are the super-hardcore type that die, die must be halal certified otherwise no go. Then there are others (most of them) who will never set foot in Chinese joint but will happily go with me angmoh/Japanese or anything else and refrain from ordering pork items on the menu.Do u mean it is fine to eat angmoh pork ? Or angmoh pork are halal ?
The hot dogs are made of beef and chicken.I saw many Malays Q for ikea hot dog bun and I also saw the notice by IKEA that their food are not halal and they never say thay their food contains no pork
that's really good advice.Stay away from processed meat, especially beef.
But i thought still need the halal sign? The hot dogs are made of beef and chicken.
I know the ikea cafe has a halal section, but i doubt the hotdog stand does. In any case, this halal/kosher thing is dumb as fuck. Why do people pander to these religious hocus pocus? Business reasons I guess, and to be politically correct. But i thought still need the halal sign?
As long no pork can liao?
Spend thousands for halal sign only display purposes ah
$1 only150 per pcs too cheap and too enticing?
马来人天天讲halal 天天讲清真不过自己跑到 Ikea 吃热狗!Gingerlyn妹妹, as long as the bun is halal, everything is fine.
