If u been to Tokyo and Seoul, u will find literally an underground city with walkways with malls, restaurants, foodcourts...etc and its ok as its linked to the subways. Above ground is not so congested as a result. In Singapore we do have a couple of underground malls but not to the scale of Tokyo or Seoul. So if we want to go big on population, we need to go underground.

With the PAP brilliance, sinkapore can build many layers of underground cities. They have not produced a White Paper on it yet?

The best thing about underground cities is they don't have cars so u need to walk or take the subways.

But its not going to be cheap!! U got to dig, then you got to have lights and aircon 24x7.

Will it survive the monsoon season? SG is located in the equatorial belt.

Tell the government don't anyhow dig later my underground world below also Kena .

the size of seoul is 605.21 km sq. the size of tokyo is 2,187.66 km sq. if those cities are packed, there are still other parts of south korea and japan to shift to.

sinkie is 710 km sq. we already have no where else to shift to. dont dig underground so we can sink faster...

Talking about underground, have people been to the Bishan atation & Junction 8 lately  You can now exit from the MRT station directly to the basement of Junction 8.

They are also building elevators for the pedestrian overhead bridge in front of this MRT station. See what you get for voting PAP:rolleyes:

what? we can only move about underground coz we peasants are not good enough to be seen in broad daylight?:p
