A woman was in a house near MacPherson Road when she allegedly lifted her sleeping gown and exposed herself to her son, who was then 16 years old.

On Sept 26, the 57-year-old Singaporean was charged with one count each of sexual exposure and harassment.

She cannot be named due to a gag order to protect the boy's identity.

The woman is accused of exposing her genitals to her son at around 1am on Dec 26, 2021.

On another occasion at about 8am on Jan 18, 2022, they were in the house when the woman allegedly committed harassment.

She was said to have asked the boy: "Are you going to tell the police that I expose myself again? Then I will just expose myself."

After that, the woman allegedly gestured that she was going to pull down her skirt.

Court documents do not disclose how her alleged offences came to light. The case will be mentioned in court again on Oct 10.

If convicted of sexually exposing herself to her son, the woman can be jailed for up to two years and fined.

An offender convicted of harassment can be jailed for up to six months and fined up to $5,000.
