It's election time and PAP is pulling out all the stops to 'win' more votes. Latest is the reversal of benefits to be offered to single moms under the guise of changing social norms. So what else can they offer?? What other 'sacred cows' can they slaughter? Say if they reverse the 6.9m FT policy, will u change your mind and vote for them??

PAP have overdone this FT policy, which is very difficult to overturn.
They built economy based on overflowing of FTs and did allow lots of shopping malls, restaurants, condominiums, service apartments, offices, etc.
It is their growth-at-all-costs policy, which drags down their popularity with local sinkies.
I doubt they can reverse the damage done to many sinkie families; who are replaced by FTs, who father/ mother perished in casino/ pools gambling, who cannot afford HDB, who cannot find job right after graduation, etc.

Return all CPF @55 (the original intention...not asking much are we?)
Dismantle PA, Peg minister pay to the lowest 20%, Overhaul the judiciary system
Dissolve GIC and Temasek...return all the monies to its citizens. (New citizens less than 18 years not included)
Remove their sticky fingers out of the prostitute press & the election department
Stop helping the poor...scrap the GST and nationalize public transport

No, after all the damages they have done, whatever they do today, many wrongs can never put things right. After 50 years of the same, "pain", we should start anew, make them oppositions like when they started in 1963. Make the MIW's work, for every cent, we pay them, for we are paying through our Blood, Sweat & Tears earning...we should start afresh & renew this country.
