Apparently you neber been to the cookhouse kitchen during your NS tour. I Kenna signed extras so went to do cookhouse duty, ie kitchen helper during battalion lull. Hygiene is the foremost in chief cook mind so the samples they took for keeping is properly prepare but the same cannot be said for the rest of the mass produce shit that they served to the troops. The worse was the veggie, just rinse once and into the wok they go. From then on, I never eat veggie in saf camps, the same go for the zi zhar stalls and economy veggie stalls as they use the same method in cleaning the veggie. Btw, the officers eat the same shit as the troops but only serve in a nicer way or maybe got extra eggs so chief cook make egg omelette for them. Due to my extras at the cookhouse, I got to know the nsf cooks very well so they allow me to raid the fridge for eggs, jam, roti, color water syrup etc etc back to barrack.
