remember last year when i went to one of their night market. The peanut candy stall owner gave me a few pieces of extra serving because we spoke hokkien. Was very touch by his small gesture.

People there seems surprise and curious that we can speak Taiwanese (their hokkien) other than native Taiwanese and they know we are not local from the way we sound.

Dun worry, our local SG one is way better. Their omelette not as fragant and the gravy just doesnt add enough kick to compensate
