It had been a very long, long time, I have played around with Linux, when I saw the video on Gnome, KDE ...bring back memories, when these were still in their 'infant' stages. Was a member of L.U.G.S...wonder if they are still around?...attended a few of their demo & meeting, once was at Suntec many, many moons ago...
I have an unused copy of SUSE 7.1 which I bought from the Computer Book Store at Funan. It comes with a book on how to install & use Linus. Never got around to using it:o

I still have my Caldera Open Linux...version 2.3 & their latest I think 3.0 before they folded....still have some textbooks left, the majority of the programming books, which I never got time to read; gave away, still have the book on GIMP, which I am keeping still, as a reminder of a time, far back.
I used to have a machine, running Linux & open source softwares, which I used to play around with...but that too had been re-formatted & the machine no longer working already..
Linux....one day agin...when I am really nothing to do already...will go back & explore again..
