if my tv cabinet can fit in 42'' tv, i would have gone for plasma for sure.........there was an offer for just $399 months ago !

I used to keep my TV in an enclosed cabinet but suspect it caused heat build problems. The TV started having problems but fortunately it happened when the TV was only 6 months old & still under warranty. Since the repairs I have used the set without the cabinet & haven't had any problems.

With our hot climate heat can be a problem especially with TVs which run hot.
