Exactly. Why would needy households need newspapers? Having newspapers to read is a higher order need in Maslow's hierarchy. Instead of newspapers, why not contribute food? Or contribute to the efforts of Food Aid, Food Bank, etc. Since by logic already know which households are needy, why not share this info with food aid distribution companies.

Why is there a need to help low income Sinkies in the first place. If they can't earn a decent income it is not the fault of the government or other Sinkies it's their own damned fault.

Just leave them be and they'll either figure out how to help themselves or they'll perish. Either way it's a win for the rest of us who are capable of earning an honest living.
