BMW's F1 sponsor is Petronas, so their engine oil are pretty fucked-up in recent years with various engine problems because they got to use Petronas (rebadged BMW engine oil) for their vehicle servicings.

If customers uses Shell or Liqui-moly, will BMW car get disabled?? hahaha

I doubt Is the oil. There have been known engine manufacturing defects for some time for certain models

If you do a lot of printing at home, invest in a laser printer.

The ink cartridge business is a scam and a racket.

I still remember people openly selling 'pirated' printed ink cartridges at the NUS campus back in the day, not sure if they do this anymore.

I have had this experience also. Bought genuine ink from Challenger also cannot work and have to exchanged it in HP customer service.
Now I subscribed to their instant ink which is also convenient but my old printer have to be obsoleted even it is still functioning.

This has been going on for a while now. HP even wants enterprise customers to pay for bios updates for their servers.

I encountered an issue with my previous HP printer. After using it for about 2-3 years without issue, after I replaced the ink cartridge (an original authentic one), it said my printer head was spoilt or something to that effect. I suspect it’s some built in mechanism that makes the printer fail after a certain period and makes you buy a new one.

Back then, they explained that German cars are designed to "burn engine oils", so when you bought premium models of porsche or BMW, they would give a free container of motor oil when you were collecting the car.

Then one-thing leads to another, after they fix this problem in recent years, they start to have issues with shaft, gasket, coolant/hose leaks, water pump, thermostat issues and the authorized workshop will just fix the hoses and let you return every 6-12 months for repairs.

The drivers of chinese printer brands got malwares aka remote access trojans.

SOS recommends, Cannon, Brother, or Epson, all can use compatible toner/inks or recycled original drums/cartridges online.

HP disabling printers is also considered Malware.
