Like I said again, issuing PUBLIC service award to the rich people does not make the rich people feel any better than before, but it does make the PAP feel good. Briefly, issuing public service award is to benefit PAP and not the reciever of the award. You must have enough brain to see through such a spam award. Whatever happened to the issue regarding Patrick Tan and his NS deferment? Why has no one looked into the matter? IMO this is a serious matter and there should be a Commission of Inquiry convened to provide transparency on the matter. The integrity of NS must be upheld. If this is not thoroughly clarified and addressed (and the appropriate remedial action taken), it may dent people's confidence in NS, and give the impression that "white horses" are entitled to privileges that others are not.
