Howard Shaw stripped of Pubic Service award

After he was convicted Lincoln cheng immediately transferred the club to mark shaw.
Partly forced out by his partners and also to contain the club's reputation fallout.
Over the years he slowly eased himself back in.

Yes he was a naval diver. Easy peasy for him as he is qualified diver. though he was technically a white horse. His batch no special treatment. Circa 1990 in tekong. He was my trainee. Nice chap with chiobu gf. Pop party he bao the entire ballroom in Hyatt. Always queuing and hogging the public phones at night making calls.

The raid turned out to be a non-event as he was found not with controlled drugs under MDA but medical drugs without prescription. All bought overseasHe was addicted to medical drugs to keep himself wide awake. Can't go to jail for these.

You are probably correct on most counts.....but 32 people arrested including managers, staff and patrons hardly counts as a non event.
Best thing was none of these staff were sacked or even suspendedn by the good boss....probably reward for loyalty and for not ratting on the boss.
LC flew in doctors to testify to his 'illness' and the 'prescription drugs'....another lucky elite got off the hook....

After the drug bust the joint wasn't closed down and even won the best nightspot that year for 3rd year running.......he probably felt embarrassed about it that he rejected award and self closure for 8 months.

He got away with it, period. It's so fucking clear that they're consuming the upjohn drugs to get high. So many of them were caught at the same time. He should have been slapped with a trafficking charge!

Adderall is pharma grade amphetamine, commonly described to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). You comsume it to get high you go to jail, unless you got doctor's prescription. No ifs and buts.

Yes he was originally sentenced to 6 months jail (which was already very lenient)...........appealed and got a fine.
Even chief kangaroo weighed in on national TV with excuses on why he wasn't jailed.
Joint was let off lightly and it was business as usual.......self imposed closure was just wayang.
Lincoln Cheng is a classic example of the elites who got the juice.....
 
Will they strip Peter Lim and Ng Boon Gay of their ranks and awards?
