What local sinkies really need is the following institution to cultivate their entrepreneurship mindset:
1) School of hard knocks

Tell them the truth that there is no God. They will sure to become wise and independent.
the public or voters as the "衣食父母" of papees shall teach papees how to maintain basic dignity and integrity by
(1) making them hold on to one and only job ONLY as papees are holding onto different jobs, directorships(GLCs/Stat boards) and private business ownerships.
Reason being papees commit fundamental breach of what they claim and justify for the pay package.
*****THEY CLAIM THAT THEY CAN MAKE SAME xxxxxxxxx $ ELSEWHERE, HOWEVER ONCE THEY ARE "VOTED IN", THEY CONTINUE THEIR OWN PRACTICE,
BUSINESSES, HOLD MULTIPLE DIRECTORSHIPS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, => ONLY DO PART-TIME MPEE DUTY IF THEY EVER DO.
They only serve as part-time mp who only know how to follow the party whip, doze in parliament or even absent from it.
(2) making them realize that no one owe papees a living.
(3) making them realize and treasure the "history" where they can call their paymasters names such as "lesser mortals, daft and etc" by voting papees out......
Above list includes but is not exhaustive of what public or voters can, shall and have to do in order to be true blue singaporeans.
And most importantly.........
In reality, the nation have been providing welfare state benefits "minimum wages" in millions to each individual leech aka papee, (juz because of one party rule system) to leeches aka papees leeching on the system. These leeches aka papees wasting nation's time and resources and etc every single second of the Mother Earth's day. By some unfortunate default, we as a nation have to put food on table and tonnes of $$$ for these leeches...
The country needs the government (employees of the public) to work for the country.
Can these leeches aka papees become self reliant? Get a job and be prepared to work hard
at least for once in a lifetime. Stop Leeching on the system.

it not the system or the environment, it the parents that turn out the current little prince and princess.
too many children grow up with everything lay out for them by their parents.
parents must try to "let go" a bit so that the children know about the "real world" out there.
