Minister of State for Manpower Dinesh Vasu Dash does not know what he is talking about because he has absolutely no entrepreneurial experience. He was parachuted in as co-chair of the Entrepreneurship Committee under S'pore's Economic Strategy Review. Dinesh served as a Brigadier General in the SAF before he became Chief Executive of AIC under MOH Holdings, before contesting the last GE. Someone with an "iron rice bowl" has zero knowledge of what entrepreneurs face. How can a lifelong civil servant teach others about the risks of starting a business? Dinesh, please "Don't teach your father how to suck eggs".
