"Hey iPar, How can I stay Anonymous" "iPar I don't want to be traced by the feds/popo/cops/pigs (XD what ever you call them)

Right todays tutorial, Which I think is right to help out some of the newcomers to the scene is how to stay anonymous?

How do we stay anonymous?

Well..... There are many different ways, I'm going to take you through them all to give you a understanding.

#1. Protection
#2. Protecting yourself?
#3. Anonymity

First on that mofo list is protection.

Protection, Like protecting your house from a burglar you also need to protect yourself from a hacker,
I mean you wouldn't go on holiday and leave your front door open would you? So why leave yourself open on the internet?

[*]If your using Windows, Use Microsoft Update, It was the reason they invented it for?
[*]Firewall, If you don't have one, Get one.
[*]Ports? Only keep open what you require open?
[*]If your using Linux then hey.... Your pretty secure XD

I won't dabble to much into protection, I mean it's pretty obvious, Nor will I make suggestions XD that's your job.

Protecting yourself is next so let's move on.

The other day I social engineer someone for a host of information,
I was shocked how easily I managed to get this info and it was pretty sensitive info which could be used for fraud.

So...... Don't give out information so easily, Anything that could be traced or used against you.
When it comes to the internet, Certainly don't, Use different aliases, Name, Location, Different everything,
Never ever link in anyway the real you with the fake you?

Protect your info? and protect/encrypt your HDD contents as well.

Everything above is important, This next part is really important. Let's move onto Anonymity.

#Anonymity.

"iPar, iPar, I don't want the cops coming to my house and raiding me, How can I hide myself?"

Listen up mofo's this part is more important than the rest of the tut?

So you've learnt how to hide your own identity (Check encrpytion for those who didn't read it XD)
Now we need to hide your IP, There are various ways to do this, Here are the main few.

Sock5 proxy "Wait.....What.... This idiot talking about socks, Bitch they are in the draw?"
No this isn't socks you put on your feet,

"SOCKS

iPar wishes to communicate with Kim Kardashian over the internet,
but a firewall exists on his network between them and iPar is not authorized to communicate through it himself.
Therefore, he connects to the SOCKS proxy on his network and sends to it information about the connection he wishes to make to Kim Kardashian.
The SOCKS proxy opens a connection through the firewall and facilitates the communication between iPar and Kim Kardashian.
For more information on the technical specifics of the SOCKS protocol.

HTTP

iPar wishes to download a web page from Kim Kardashian, who surprisely runs a web server.
iPar cannot directly connect to Kim's server, as a firewall has been put in place on his network.
In order to communicate with the server, iPar connects to his network's HTTP proxy.
His internet browser communicates with the proxy in exactly the same way it would the target server—it sends a standard HTTP request header.
The HTTP proxy reads the request and looks for the Host header.
It then connects to the server specified in the header and transmits any data the server replies with back to iPar."

That is a little brief overview of the two,
Remember though HTTP proxies are traditionally more HTTP protocol aware and do more high level filtering
(even though that usually only applies to GET and POST methods, not CONNECT).
SOCKS proxies can also forward UDP traffic and work in reverse - HTTP proxies can't do that.

HTTP Proxies suffer from restrictions, They'll only work with HTTP traffic and do not support UDP.

Try and use both HTTP and SOCKS if possible though this is known as "Proxy Chaining"
this is used to make your actions harder to trace but its not truely effective.

REMEBER: Do not use an L3 HTTP proxy as they show your true IP in the header and are therefore essentially pointless in hiding yourself?

VPN:
VPN or Virtual Private network for you new school kids,
This in my opinion is the best way to stay fully anonymous online,
It works by channeling trafic and encrypting it.

"Secure VPNs use cryptographic tunneling protocols to provide confidentiality by blocking intercepts and packet sniffing,
allow sender authentication to block identity spoofing, and provide message integrity by preventing message alteration."

The best VPN are paid VPN's, Although you do get free ones, Trouble is they hold logs which could be used against you.

ProxPN is a VPN that I personally would recommend,
But it comes to personal preference, Just make sure you do your research first?

Tor
"Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet.
It also enables software developers to create new communication tools with built-in privacy features.
Tor provides the foundation for a range of applications that allow organizations and individuals to share information over
public networks without compromising their privacy."
**Thanks to those at Tor for writing that?

Tor is another way in order to stay anoymous online,
As it says above it is a virtual network of tunnels,
Although a very handy tool which everyone should use?

"iPar iPar what setup are you running?"
Me personally...... I'm using Tor and a VPN, It's in my opinion the best way to stay anonymous.

You have used TOR 3 years back.
Still using TOR now or you have even better tools to share with us?

He was too free and besides i did not take offence. Quite fun. All i need to do was to get a new IP address and it's unlimited. Strange burger. I got banned for posting news at the International news folder. Now there are an abundance of them. Just Google. If you don't want installation on your pc, can use web browser type like anonymouse.net. Too many names to list. If you got money to spare, use strong VPN for movies access. :D

Guess he must have his reasons... some news may be sensitive
or you may have unwittingly posted news that irked him...
you know men can be sensitive too... hahah

Thanks for sharing..

You are welcome. Not the news but he was trying to ban clone accounts in any way he could with static IP addresses. :D

I see Sam has mellowed downed quite abit.
Maybe 3 years back he was still single and
needed to let off some built-up steam inside... haha
Playboy mag may not work at times...

I have used TOR where Leongsam banned my IP addresses about 3 years ago. :D

I have never banned any IPs. It's pointless because most ISPs issue dynamic IPs. Banning would be bypassed simply by rebooting your modem and some other sod who inherited the banned IP would end up getting locked out instead.

Even if you did have a static IP, you wouldn't need TOR to get past the ban. All you need is a proxy server.

Paiseh paiseh the banned message i received has to be from the other hosts. :D
