I would, depending on who are in the splinter party and how they project themselves.
Let's get real about this. PAP candidates need to be voted out, because we want a government which is focused on making the lives of ordinary born and bred Singaporeans better.
But not every individual in the PAP is an uncaring individual with no compassion or empathy.
Similarly, not every individual in the opposition is a caring individual who is in the game mainly for altruistic reasons.
We should not only be discerning about voting for the right party, but also try to be discerning about individuals.
