How many people have you slept with? 2.8 million?

AFP - Thursday, September 24

LONDON (AFP) - – The average British man or woman has slept with 2.8 million people -- albeit indirectly, according to figures released on Wednesday to promote awareness of sexual health.

A British pharmacy chain has launched an online calculator which helps you work out how many partners you have had, in the sense of exposure to risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STIs).

The "Sex Degrees of Separation" ready reckoner tots up the numbers based on your number of partners, then their previous partners, and their former lovers, and so on for six "generations" of partners.

The average British man claims to have actually slept with nine people, while women put the figure at 6.3, giving an average of 7.65.

"When we sleep with someone, we are, in effect, not only sleeping with them, but also their previous partners and their partners' previous partners, and so on," said Clare Kerr, head of sexual health at Lloydspharmacy.

"It's important that people understand how exposed they are to STIs and take appropriate precautions including using condoms and getting themselves checked out where appropriate."

This is rubbish. Your average sexual life is about40-50 years. If its an average of 2.8 million people than that's going to be something like 153- 191 people a day? Fuck!!!! Seems like then you do nothing else in the world besides going on fucking.

:D I am trying to understand.

I think the "experts" are trying to say that if you done one prostitute who had been on the job for 10 years on her 10th anniversary, then you would have at least "slept" with the 3656 persons who had done her since day 1, assuming 1 customer a day.

So having slept with one prostitute, you may get the germs from 3656 others who had done her before you.

Most people don't realise that with each sexual partner. You are also exposing yourself to the other people your sexual partner has cohabited with.

Don't assume your sexual partner is celibate.

If the partner is a prostitute just imagine the thousands & thousands these people have been exposed to

I thought it was a simple article.

You shaft this crack, see.

That means you shafted a crack others have shafted, and the other cracks other others have shafted .... etc ...etc.

So with one shaft of the crack, it's more than 3656 to begin with....:D

Unless you shafted a new born babe.

:oIo::oIo:

Don't forget that each of the prostitutes customer's also has exposed himself to others.

The 1st aids case was reported in the 70's but it is now a global problem.

usually for men you divide by 3 while for women you multiply by 3 to get the actual number :p

Working on the same assumption, my calculator gives 13,366,366 (3656 X 3656) sex partners with just one shot!

The count generations. So new born baby already count to have how many partners because of your parents, grandparents etc.

Applies to unprotected sex... that's the message they're trying to bring forward. If use cdm, transfer of germs/viruses greatly reduced.. maybe only a fraction of the calculated numbers. Bros who cheong can heave a sigh of relief :D

But anote of caution.. it takes only once with a HIV-infected hooker to kena.

Not necessarily. You can have unprotected sex with an infected woman and not get it. Especially circumised men.

this question is best answered by ngejay, the geylang cheongster or some hot mama who boasted herself as lamei.:)

Not necessarily. You can have unprotected sex with an infected woman and not get it. Especially circumised men.

The theory is if you don't ejaculate in her & thus not allowing back pressure causing her body fluids to enter your dick, and provided you have no exposed cuts.. you should be safe. But would you take the risk?

Conversely, a woman having unprotected sex with a HIV-infected man is more or definitely likely to get infected.

Anyone care to comment?
