How come S'pore Navy now has Filipino crewman on classified vessels?

hahaha...it is amazing how one can still be so howlian despite being caught bullshitting regularly....

1. MV Swift Rescue (SR) is not a naval vessel. Naval vessels are prefixed with RSS xxx.
2. MV SR is designed, built, own and operated by ST Marine to support the Navy.
3. The crew is civilian and mostly foreigners.
4. MV SR is build according to commercial standard, with the following Notation, ABS +A1, +AMS, +DPS-2, Mon-Shaft.
There are hundreds of vessels built to such Notation operating worldwide in support of sub-sea operations, diving operations or oil rigs operations.
5. MV SR carries the SRV ( JFD DSAR6) with its organic launch and recovery system. The SRV is able to integrate with a Transfer Lock and Recompression chamber to allow any submariner rescued under depth to be safely transferred from the SRV into the RCC for medical treatment.
6. In case of any incident, Navy will order the despatch of MV SR to the location. ROV will be deployed for visual confirmation and the SRV launched to mate with the stricken submarine and effect the transfer of the submariners into the SRV and further transfer into the RCC for treatment as required.
7. The crew of MV SR need not know the operational concept, capabilities of the submarines; etc to perform its support functions....the 2-man crew of the SRV is also not expected to enter the stricken submarine...

In short, SSRV (MV SR) sounds like a big deal but many sub-sea support vessels are built to even higher (Classification Society) standards than MV SR....

hahaha...the naval personnel onboard are not part of the ship crew....as the vessel is registered as a civilian vessel (IMO No.:9536519)....

They are basically attached personnel for training and exercises; etc.......

hahahaa, typical shit for brains kukubird. U are losing the argument, so you bring out all this large volume of useless operations about ship to obscure the argument.

U say the ship is not a naval vessel but you don't deny it was commissioned by the RSN, and spec out by the RSN.
U say that its owned an operated by ST MArine, but aren't both ST MArine and RSN different agencies of the SIngapore govt.? U know what is sama sama or not?
Since u specifically mention its submariner rescue abilities, who is its one and only customer? The RSN, right? They are not building this ship to rescue Malaysian submariners are they?

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, its a duck, ok. Only an asshole idiot like you cannot see its defacto a RSN vessel. I am very surprised to learn there are so many nationalities on this ship. I want to know what happens if a RSN sub is down while a battle is still raging in the area? Will all these pinoy and ang mo civilian crews risk their life to go into the area and perhaps under fire to rescue the submariners? Or will these FT civilian contractors say the war is not my business, and I will not risk my life to go and park my ship stationary like a sitting duck in a conflict area to rescue these singapore submariners. U talk like its no big fucking deal, this garbage ship is operated by civilians. I want to see where their loyalties lie when push comes to shove. Get it, dumb fuck?

THEEFORE it is alright for Banglas to build SAR21 in Founders Inust fka Charterd Industries after retrenching costlier sg labour???

Sure, and when ur SAR 21 jams due to poor workmanship, and you get shot full of holes, you can become a ghost and scare the apunehs.

hahaha...u are obviously out of touch with reality....
the crew is mostly foreigners is simply because you can't get Singaporeans to join......
for your info, the Capt, officers and specialists are mostly ang mo....

Not necessarily Ang Moh Capts, Officers.. Many S'pore owned vessel companies employ Pinoys, Indons as ship masters, first officers, bosuns.. In the Marine Industry there is a quota requirement set by the MOM in which there should be a certain number of crew deployment between local S'poreans crew and the foreigners working onboard a vessel..

But unfortunately the offshore companies are finding it hard to recruit S'poreans to the industry.. Why is it so? Its because of the low pay of 1.4K a month toiling in the hard sun and doing back breaking jobs onboard the vessels under the barking orders of a fucktard Pinoy or Indon bosuns.. I know because I used to be from the Salvage industry.. Now even the Indons are coming over to Tuas to work as vessel crane operators, lifting supervisors..

Now the PAP is setting up a courses to hire cadet ship officers for local Sinkies.. They will earn big money after their graduation but what about the lowly positions like ship riggers, able seamen? S'poreans working in this positions will not be able to earn more than 2.5k a month.. Offshore companies are reluctant to pay these local crew more and to cut cost they recruited agents to get them Indon, Pinoy seamen for cheap..

in fact i met a few Indo at Changi Naval Base years ago. They told me they
are contract workers(in sensitive areas). Sg is fucked.

Our offshore companies employ many Indons as tugboat Masters, crew.. Most of them are based in Tuas.. They have intimate knowledge of our coast lines and know where our navy bases are located..

Back then our locals used to operate these tugboats but to further cut costs and enrich their coffers, these offshore companies recruited Indons to operate their tugboats because they are cheaper..

they will most likely add organic cum and grease while boring the rifle hole. :p

I did not know this. Sacrificing national security to save money. Fucking PAP.

cannot be lah. All their cum unloaded into kukubird, IlovePAP and Sam's asshole already. Grease is from their hair, izzit?

Yup.. My old company together with another salvage company ever did the RSS Courageous salvage ops 11 years back.. Half of the salvage personnel involved in that sensitive project were from Indonesia and Pinoy Land..

Another salvage job we did was when one RSN boat capsized just in front of the CNV base.. Red faced Navy top brass contacted my old company asking us to salvage the boat ASAP as there were many foreign Navy officers visiting CNV that same week..It was an eyesore for them seeing the wrecked boat near to their base..

It was an easy job and we managed to tugged the boat back to a shipyard in Tuas for repairs.. And in that operation, almost all were Indons involved in that salvage job..

How is it possible that a RSN vessel can capsize at CNV? Isn't the waters within the base rather sheltered? Possible to enlighten on what vessel it was? Thanks mate.

It was just an inflatable boat that broke down due to some mechanical problem..

That was nothing.. Another time a sewage vessel from Glenn's petroleum capsized also near to CNV base.. Again my old company together with another company were called to salvage that vessel..

Agree with you.

what happen to "we guard our secrets as we guard our weapons?" And Konfrontasi is
forgotten again before Usman n Harun were named in the Indon ships.
Unrelentlessly, the govt is welcoming all the aliens; to top up the gdp as well.
Therefore, it shows that the govt do not mean what they says.
