How come so much road works during peak hours??

Our roads are already so congested with the increased volume of vehicles so anytime there is a accident or road works, the traffic james are horrendous!! Btw, how come the road works are done in the day and sometimes during peak hours??? Last time it was all done after midnight to early morning. Gahment trying to save monies by scheduling work during the day to avoid paying overtime or night rates??? But these savings are at our expense as we suffer if the roads jam up.

Banglas cannot work at night due to reasons that has been shown in National Geographic Channel!

1) They can't see each other in the dark!
2) They can't smell each other at anytime because both stinks cancelled out not the smell but their sense of smell!
3) No tiger masks available for sale in Mustafa, so cannot work at night!

Above reasons are why there are roadworks during peak hour because the banglas also like crowds, they feel safe!

Main reason for the jam is; many of these roadworks' Contractors are Not abiding by LTA's ruLing of digging onLy
ONE Lane at a time..you can see many of them are actuaLLy hogging 2 Lanes simuLtaneousLy..:(
