Hong Lim Park Protest ~ Reuters.

Singapore will be the laughing stock of the world when only 30 people show up.

Sometime back I read the following sentence in a book, "four and twenty milk kines"

There is something wrong with your figure (in bold and big red letters).

I was at a WP rally. The "respected" paper of Singapore reported the crowd as about 1000 people. What we saw was close to 10,000. The police had problems clearing traffic jams after the crowds started dispersing.

Unless, my interpretation of the above (four and twenty milk kines) is correct, dunno who to trust - YOU or the Shit Time

Remember "Archimedes Principle".

Re: Confirmed: Massive turnout at Hong Lim Park

This event I hope will be the catalyst of many things to come. First, i hope the FAP get off their high horses and stop paying lip service to the people and learn to listen, really listen. Fake tears and apologies just don't cut it any more, you morons.

Second, that more good, qualified people will join in the camps of the oppos. For ages, the main stumbling block has been unacknowledged intimidation, from the serialized numbers of the voting records, to lawsuits, to charges of being a Chinese chauvinist, communist, even stamp frauds. Singaporeans are more sophisticate now to se through all that. Singapore needs you.

Lastly and hopefully not least, that this event will galvanize the people to realize that the government works FOR the people and not the other around. United, the FAP realize they can't afford to alienate the people with their high-handed ways any more.

This is a turning point for Singaporeans, the citizens are motivated as never before. The FAP never in their wildest dreams have even contemplate the normally pliable citizens dare turn up, much less in the thousands. Don't put this to waste.

Singaporeans, give yourself a pat, or twenty, on the back. You deserve it.

One baby step at a time. Moving too fast will be anarchy and that is worse than having a 51% PAP government.

stop barking up the wrong tree. The day everyone gets their CPF money back, will be the day everyone loses a huge chunk of their wealth as SGD collapses against all major currencies.

Old people money also cheat.... curse PAP!

i counted. exactly 2,069. fook seng wins. :D

This is very close, but my extended family added 500 plus more to the count. So, it is close to 3,000 but definitely did not cross 3,000.
I'm a clerk of works, so bill of materials is usually at my finger-tips.

Either PAP cheat their money, or they will gamble it away. Some will be cheated by china XMM. Of all these possibilities, having PAP lock up the money is the lesser of all evils.

The WP's Win Was That Encoragement

Today's turnout was a good sign ..bodes well for Singapore, a bad omen for the pap

Either PAP has gone overboard, and the people are now awaken from their evil plan or they have been encouraged by the two events "The Black Sunday" and the WP's win at Punggol East.

Small little things that trickle into a large pool. Ponding. :*:

Re: Confirmed: Massive turnout at Hong Lim Park

Bet you no one from Tanjong Pagar was there

Re: Confirmed: Massive turnout at Hong Lim Park

Because

1) HO jin has lost our CPF money
2) Singaporeans have no CPF after paying high housing price.

I fully agree with you Faidenk.

An old song, "A little love that slowly grows and grows not one that comes and go, that all I want from you"

Little by little the acorn will fall and then we will have forests.
